Triple Homicide in Rampart Area NR23009

UPDATE

During the course of this investigation, LSPD Robbery-Homicide Division identified the primary suspect directly responsible for the triple murder. The murder suspect has been identified as Marnell Alhambra (46-years-old). Detectives have filed a warrant for PC1-10 Murder, PC1-11 Capital Murder and PC2-12 Armed Robbery charges against Marnell Alhambra. The other suspects have yet to be identified.

La Mesa: Los Santos Police Department's (LSPD) Robbery-Homicide Division is investigating a triple homicide in Rampart Area.

On November 15, 2023, around 2:40 p.m., Rampart Area uniform patrol officers responded to a radio call regarding a triple homicide that occurred in the 8189 block of Popular Street, within the 24/7 convenience store. Officers arrived on scene and made contact with the person-reporting (PR) and cleared the premises. Officers located three victims suffering from fatal gunshot wounds. The Los Santos Fire Department responded and pronounced all three of the victims dead at the scene. The victims were all inside the shop when they were murdered. The victims have since been identified as Kabir Darsh (47-years-old), Rohan Darsh (32-years-old), and Ishaan Darsh (15-years-old). Officers discovered that two cash registers and a safe were opened and emptied during the incident. Officers requested Rampart Area detectives, who deferred to Robbery-Homicide Division.  

Robbery-Homicide Division responded to the scene, interviewed witnesses and supervised the collection of evidence by the Forensic Science Division.
