Attempted Murder Investigation NR23007

Los Santos: Los Santos Police Department's (LSPD) Robbery-Homicide Division (RHD) announce the arrest of a suspect wanted for attempted murder.

On March 17, 2023, around 10:56 p.m., Pacific Area officers responded to a shots fired radio call in the area of Invention Court and Prosperity Street. Upon arrival, officers located a victim beside their vehicle suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Los Santos Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene, transporting the victim to a local trauma center where they currently are recovering from their injuries. The victim's name is being withheld for privacy reasons.

LSPD's Robbery-Homicide Division arrived to the scene around 11:24 p.m., collecting evidence alongside the LSPD's Forensic Science Division (FSD). The investigation led them to the suspect's identity and location. Detectives executed a search warrant on the suspect's home and an arrest warrant on the suspect, identified as 33-year-old Darryl Longwood, a resident of Los Santos, for PC1-03 Assault with a Deadly Weapon, PC1-08 Attempted Murder, PC2-12 Armed Robbery, PC2-15 Vandalism, and PC9-03 Weapons Discharge Violation (Booking Number 32303). His bail was set to $231,000.000

Evidence Recovered

Pictured is a Shrewsbury Sentinel Shotgun, found in the suspect's home. Beside the shotgun is a backpack with the victim's items from the robbery & attempted murder.
